Bro. Brian Armstrong - Pastor
Email Bro. Brian

About our Pastor!

As Pastor Brian Armstrong's wife, I can tell you he is faithful to the church and to the Lord.  I have watched him grow in the Lord in a great way through the years.  Bro. Brian stepped in as Pastor in one of the hardest times of the church and our lives.

I am thankful for my Pastor!  He lives by the Word of God.  He tries hard to be the man of God he needs to be for the church and our family.  He loves serving the Lord with everything in him.  I pray that God will continue to use him and Wind of Pentecost in a mighty way.

Isaiah 52:7   How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace;  that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!

Romans 10:15   And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

God bless my Pastor!

God bless you in Jesus name

Sis. Andie Armstrong - Pastor's Wife & Choir Leader

Choir Leader

Psalm 149 and 150 speaks of singing praises unto the Lord with instruments and with dancing.  The Lord deserves all our praise!  I believe in praise and worship, it will change things.  Anointed singing and music drives the old devil away!

I Samuel 16:23 speaks of David playing for Saul, and Saul was refreshed and the evil spirit departed from him.

Psalm 22:3, thou that inhabitest the praise of Israel.  When people praise the Lord, he comes and inhabits our services.  He heals the sick, he fills souls with the Holy Ghost, he encourages, and he refreshes us.

It's encouraging to hear a choir and musicians sing and play for the Lord.  It causes excitement in the services.  Praise is so important in our everyday lives and our services.  It drives the spirit of deadness out of our services.  God deserves all our praise.  I love giving praise to the Lord.  I couldn't imagine not being able to praise like we do!

We must keep on giving God our praise.  The Word said, "I will bless the Lord at all times, his praise shall continually be in my mouth!"  I can't help myself, I've got to praise him.  He is so worthy!

I encourage you to keep on singing and playing for the Lord!

God bless you in Jesus name

Sis. Andie Armstrong

Sis. Missy Shoumake - Youth Teacher & Choir Leader

Choir Leader

Wind of Pentecost Apostolic Choir has one purpose, and that is to uplift and praise the name of Jesus.  We believe in giving our all, even if we're only having a choir practice.  We, as a unit - everyone - is important.  There are no big "I's" and little "you's" because we are all working together to bring the Gospel in song and praise.

I am thankful to be a part of God's work.  Our prayer is that Jesus will inhabit our praise and make us all vessels of honor for His glory.

Youth Teacher

God has really been convicting me lately about always looking at the bad instead of counting my blessings!  I am so blessed because of all that God has given me.  We don't' have a lot of money, but all our bills are paid.  Gas is very high, but we are blessed with a vehicle to drive.  We don't live in a mansion and we don't own our home, but we are blessed with a place to live.  We don't have everything we want, but all our needs are supplied.

We are all blessed to live in a country where we have freedom.  Yes, it looks bad, but we are free right now.  We are blessed with a great place to worship and praise God.  We may not have a houseful, but we have enough to worship and obey God.  He said where two or three are gathered in His name.  He is here!  We may not have the best of everything, but we are blessed with a few who have the desire to please Jesus and to walk in His anointing.

I just want to start concentrating on our blessings and the good that's around us.  We are truly blessed!

God bless you in Jesus name,

Sis. Missy Shoemake

Philippians 4:8  Think on these things . . .
Nehemiah 8:10  . . . the joy of the Lord is our strength.
Isaiah 61:3  . . . the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness . . .
Matthew 6:25-34  Don't worry!
Psalm 37  Fret not . . .

Sis. Samantha Hutcherson - Sunday School Teacher & Youth Choir Leader

I believe God chose each and every one of us to do a work for him.  I thank God for the opportunity to be a Sunday school teacher and to share His word with the kids in class.  I am amazed at how God will speak to us through His word.

The kids always keep me on my toes!  I do want to be found in God's will in all things because the kids are always watching and listening.  It's a blessing to watch the kids grow in the natural and in the spiritual.  I believe they will all grow up to do a special work for the Lord.  We always have a great time learning and having fun in class.

I would be nothing without Jesus!  He has blessed me and my family for many years, and I give him thanks for every day.  I am blessed to be in God's Family and I'm excited to see what God has in store!

God bless you in Jesus name,

Sis. Samantha

Sis. Janice Clemons - Nursery Teacher

Sis. Amanda Martin - Sign Team Leader

The Sign Team at Wind of Pentecost has grown tremendously.  The young people are eager to focus their time and energy doing something fun and special for God's glory.  They learn sign language to Christian songs as an expression of silent praise unto the Lord.  A few songs learned so far are:  "The Presence of the Lord is Here," "My Redeemer Lives," and "The Revelation Song."  They come together in unity and willingly give their time and attention to learn sign language.
God is truly drawing the youth closer to Him as they focus more and more of their attention on Him.  From when the Sign Team first got together until now, God has richly blessed their talent.  Keep our youth in your prayers that their desires will continually be for Jesus Christ, that His annointing will be over our Sign Team, and that they will always lift up holy hands unto the Lord.

Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised.  I praise the Lord because He has never done me nothing but good.  We serve an "on time" God.  I'm so thankful that in the day that we live in, He is still saving souls and filling folks with the Holy Ghost.  We serve a mighty God!  Be encouraged today that he is more than able to meet our needs, no mater how great or small.
Today people are selling out to this world, but I  believe God is looking for individuals that will be sold out to him, dedicating their life to serving Him.  Nothing is too big for the God we serve.  Luke 18:27, "And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God."

God Bless,

Bro. Justin Martin

WHAT GREAT MEN HAVE SAID ABOUT THE BIBLE

It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible.

A studious perusal of the sacred volume will make better citizens, better fathers, and better husbands.
- Thomas Jefferson

The first and almost the only book deserving of universal attention.
- John Quincy Adams

It is the Rock on which our Republic rests.
-Andrew Jackson

A man has deprived himself of the best there is in the world who has deprived himself of this, a knowledge of the Bible.
-Woodrow Wilson

There is no other book so various as the Bible, nor one so full of concentrated wisdom.
- Herbert Hoover

To the influence of the book we are indebted for the progress made in civilization and to this we must look as our guide in the future.
- Ulysses S. Grant

What can I do with respect to the next world without my
Bible?
- John Bacon

The Bible is more than a book, it is a living being with an action; a power which invades everything that opposes its extension.
- Napoleon Bonaparte

All other books are of little importance in comparison with the Holy Scriptures.
- Alexander Cruden

We, the undersigned, Students of the Natural Sciences, desire to express our sincere regret that researchers into scientific Truth are perverted by some in our own times into occasion of casting doubt upon the truth and authenticity of the Holy Scriptures.  We conceive that it is impossible for the Word of God written in the book of nature, and God's Word written in Holy Scripture, to contradict one another.  Physical science is not complete, but is only in a condition of progress.
- 800 scientists of Great Britain, recorded in the Bodelian Library, Oxford

The Bible is the Book of faith and a Book of doctrine and a Book of morals and a Book of religion of special revelation from God:  but it is also a Book which teaches man his responsibility, his own dignity, and his equality with his fellowman.
- Daniel Webster

GREAT MEN STILL BELIEVE IN THE BIBLE!
